Just one last word on investing.

Through Google Reader I’ve started reading the Get Rich Slowly Blog. Through that blog, I found a series of educational videos posted on Youtube on investing.

Korea, Sparkling???

April 24, 2007

Ok, if you haven’t already heard about the great marketing campaign for Korea, you need to think about this for a while and let it sink in…

Korea Sparkling

I actually liked the last campaign—Dynamic Korea. It really caught hold of the essence of Korea, a fast changing and emerging global powerhouse. But Sparkling???

Here’s a list of a few that other country’s taglines that i can live with:

Incredible India!

Malaysia, Truly Asia

Amazing Thailand

Yokoso Japan

Uniquely Singapore

Indonesia: The Ultimate in Diversity

Seoul Olympic Museum

April 17, 2007

There hasn’t been any updates on here for a while, so I was searching the web looking for events to add to our precious calendar and stumbled upon this gem: Seoul Olympic Museum.

I’d never even heard of it before, though I’ve walked through Olympic Park a few times. Could make for an interesting afternoon. Take a date on a picnic/stroll through Olympic park, then head to the museum before getting dinner.

Just a thought

Culture Centers/Centres

April 17, 2007

Anyone catch the article in the Monday edition of the JoonAng Daily entitled, “Language lessons, films, dance: Centers offer all“? It was a good rundown on some of the happenings and events offered by the foreign communities in Seoul/Korea. I’ve heard of a few before, but this is really the first time i’ve seen such an expansive list.

Here they are (let me know if i’m missing any):

Istanbul Cultural Center

French Cultural Center

China Cultural Center

Korea Foundation Cultural Center

Africa Cultural Center

Israel Cultural Center

Japan Cultural Center

German Cultural Center

Latin American Cultural Center

British Council

Portugal Cultural Center

Italian Cultural Institute
