Worldwide protests against Burma; All quiet in Korea

September 27, 2007

I hope everyone had a nice Chuseok. Seoul’s streets were relatively empty, which I fully enjoyed. In case you haven’t kept up on regional news over the holiday, there’s been a lot going on over in Burma:

Edit: Video no longer available

FYI: Korea is one of the few countries that does business with the Myanmar regime. Particularly shamefully, last December Daewoo, Doosan, and others were indicted for selling weapons to the brutal Burmese government.

shamefull indeed…..shamefull that you dare insult Korean culture and super fighting business like Daewoo..a company who has clearly demonstrated good conscience friendly policy adventure story!

Got something to say?
