The Daejon Animal Shelter still has 150 dogs looking for homes and foster homes. The following guest post was written by Mark Preston, who has started a Facebook group dedicated to rescuing as many of the dogs as possible.
URGENT! MUCH HELP NEEDED! Please do what you can, if only spreading the word that an enormous amount of help is needed quickly.

blog action day post
October 17, 2007
Wow, so I totally blew the whole “blog action day” thing. Not only am I a day late, but I don’t have time to give it a proper write-up.
So, ahem, I’ll just remind everyone to throw your trash away in the proper bags, which you must purchase from the grocery store.
Czech beer Budvar to hit the markets soon!
October 17, 2007
After a private tour of the Budvar plant in the Czech Republic a few years ago, this writer has been an avid fan of their brand. I was so entralled with the product, that i even explored the possibility of importing it upon my return to Korea. I recieved a few boxes of the product through the mail–needless to say, the exporting/sales manager i was dealing with either A) Died B) Was Fired or C) Flaked out…we were in constant communication for a few weeks, and then silence! Nothing. Very strange.
Anyways…at a Czech it out event last week at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel, i was pleasantly surprised when i had a bottle of Budvar placed in front of me over my dinner of traditional Czech cuisine. I quickly downed the bottle, and noticed Korean writing on the back–yes, it is now being imported into Korea!
I’m still trying to find out where it’s available, but it appears that this is a brand new venture.
Check out the Korean site here.
