Bball League in Seoul

Just cruising the K.Herald’s forums…found this gem for the sports minded out there. Basketball League in Seoul to start soon.

After setting up a 5-on-5 Coed Flag Football league, i know firsthand how difficult it is to get things like this organized, especially with a bunch of dudes.  (Note: it’s been a great year in Football. We’ve just had to cancel our first weekend due to the Extreme Cold yesterday. Hopefully we’ll get one more week in before the end of the year. Spartans, We are Coming for you!!!)

Here is the info from the forum announcement:

Anyone who is interested in joining a basketball league on the weekdays or weekends within the Seoul area. We are planning to start a league with a 50 ~ 80 men roster. The league will be held in one of the cities in Seoul. Depending on the locations of the player will determine the location of the Gym. We will try to arrange it where no one has to travel over 45 mins ~ 1 hour of commute. Since the League will be new starting next year in February 2008, therefore we will need the registrations done by third week of December. There is a possiblity of having a different gym each week, but within Seoul area. We are trying to keep the cost down by having individuals from each team to referee each game. The League will consist 10 weeks/games per season and will be all year round. There will also be tournaments after each season. We will keep stats for players in the league.
