Special SCAS Event at The Bungalow

The Seoul Cigar Aficianado Society is planning a blowout end of the year event for December 15th (RSVP is REQUIRED).

They’ve made arrangements at the ultra-hip Bungalow in Itaewon for an evening of fine dining, and they’re upping the ante with a gift exchange coupled by a contest with one sweet prize.

The Seoul Cigar Aficionado Society (SCAS) invites you to attend its year-end smoker on Saturday, December 15th 2007 starting at 7:00 pm at the The Bungalow Lounge in Itaewon. Relax, take your shoes off, and sink your feet into warm white sand as you enjoy fine dining and a great cigar. This bar is like no other you’ve seen in Seoul. If this is your first time to the The Bungalow Lounge, it will take you to a tropical island without leaving Korea! Since the holiday season is upon us we will have a gift exchange during the smoker (details below). Also, we will be collecting toys for the Marine Corp Toys for Tots Foundation.

WHO: To all those that enjoy cigars in good company. Please feel free to tell your friends and colleagues about the event.

WHEN: Saturday, December 15th 2007 starting at 7:00 pm. The next smoker date is January 19th 2008 at Kabinett Boutique Wine Bar.

WHERE: The Bungalow Lounge is located behind the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon. A map is attached to this email. Please call Kevin Cry at 02-793-2344 for more detailed directions. It’s recommended to take the subway or a taxi due to traffic congestion and parking constraints.

COST: W44,000. This cost includes a full dinner set prepared by La Cigale Montmartre’s French chef and includes two drink tickets of your choice. The dinner and drink menus are attached to this email. The cost of the featured cigar is not included in the price mentioned; the featured cigar’s price range is usually under W20,000 and is always discounted at 20% for these events. You are welcome to bring your own cigars to the event.

GIFT EXHANGE: In keeping with the holiday spirits, we will have a gift exchange at 9:00 pm during the smoker. PLEASE let us know by email if you will participate in the gift exchange. The present cannot be more than $20 or W20,000. The donor of the gift best liked by the attendees will receive a leather cigar case with cigars included courtesy of Maska’s Cigars. The winner must have the receipt to prove that it was under $20 or W20,000 for the cheaters out there. J Don’t be a Scrooge and bring a present to welcome in the holiday spirit!

TOY FOR TOTS: If you would like to donate a toy to the Marine Corp Toys for Tots Foundation, we will accept them at this smoker. Please ensure the toy is new and unwrapped. Toy donors will receive a free cigar gift courtesy of Maska’s Cigars.
