It’s Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

November 19, 2007

The Millenium Seoul Hilton will be kicking off the holiday season right! So, this Sunday, don’t miss out on this chance to bask in the warmth of the yuletide spirit with friends and family.

The hotel will unveil its impressive 10-meter Christmas tree and miniature mountain village, complete with a miniature Christmas Train, at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25. Now in its 12th year, the Christmas Train is a time-honored tradition that marks the start of the hotel’s Christmas season. Be on hand to watch the train whistle blow and for the train to chug its ways along the tracks for the first time this holiday season. Santa Claus will make a guest appearance, so be sure to bring family and friends, as well as a camera.

This is definately no Tree Lighting on the Plaza in KC, but this will certainly be a welcomed alternative.

Shoppers: Only 35 more shopping days til Christmas!

Just cruising the K.Herald’s forums…found this gem for the sports minded out there. Basketball League in Seoul to start soon.

After setting up a 5-on-5 Coed Flag Football league, i know firsthand how difficult it is to get things like this organized, especially with a bunch of dudes.  (Note: it’s been a great year in Football. We’ve just had to cancel our first weekend due to the Extreme Cold yesterday. Hopefully we’ll get one more week in before the end of the year. Spartans, We are Coming for you!!!) Read more

Another Thanksgiving Option: USO Canteen

November 18, 2007

Nothing to do this Thanksgiving? Unsure of where to go for that special meal? Do you start work in the late afternoon?

If you answered yes to all of those, why don’t you let those who know how to serve a REAL homestyle Thanksgiving dinner treat you right. Don’t bother with those 5 star hotels that offer European Style Thankgsiving Dinners.

Get your American grub done right.

Head over to the USO, located at Camp Kim for that delicious meal…Prepared and Served by those who proudly serve.

The canteen closes at 2pm, so you gotta get to this one early folks.
