Spicy’s Weekend Bucket List 1/10
January 10, 2008
If the weather keeps up like it is, it’s going to be hard to get to the ski resorts this Lunar New Years to enjoy some boarding. That being said, it’s still a bit too cold out to actually enjoy any outdoor activities, unless you head on out to the one of the many ice rinks the city and hotels have set up in the city. If you read my prior post about Tiger World—this could be a great weekend to enjoy the spa and pools. And, what the hell, if you feel like spending some time in some nice man made indoor snow, jump on in. I won’t hold you back.
This week there are a few things I highly recommend seeing and doing if you:
A. Have the time.
B. Have the cash.
C. Have the motivation.
1. Visit the National Museum of Korea’s exhibit: “White Tiger, the Guardian Deity of the West.”
2. Watch the Samsung Thunders take on the KT&G Kites @ Jamsil Arena. Tip-off at 3pm Saturday
3. Catch the opening weekend of 42nd Street—it’s the Broadway Cast too so it’ll be in English.
4. See and be seen this Friday @Club Circle in Apgujeong. Catch the YouTube clip here.
5. Take on the slots and the slopes at High 1 Resort in Kangwando–all aboard the High 1 Train!
Eat! Drink! & Be Merry…
