New Latin Dance Class in Itaewon

Expat Jane tipped us off to a new Latin Dance class set to start up in Itaewon every Sunday starting March 2nd. There will be Beginner and Intermediate classes. I’ll copy and paste the official announcement below:

Latin Dance Classes

Where: Club Caliente, Itaewon
When: Every Sunday Starting March 2nd
Cost: 4 Dance Classes, 4 Club Entrances, 6 Drinks = 40,000 won

Classes Offered:
Beginner: 6:00 ~ 7:00 Intermediate: 7:15~8:30
• Learn the 5 Fundamental Elements of Salsa Dancing
• Learn to Move with the Rhythm of the music
• 6~8 Salsa Patterns
• Build Confidence as Leaders and Followers
• Time to practice in class what you learn
• Learning the basics in an encouraging, enthusiastic, thorough environment

Intermediate
• Review and Integrate What You Learned in the Beginner Series
• Body Movement
• 8 ~10 Salsa Patterns
• Learn to Listen for the “Break” in the Music to Enhance Your Creativity
• 6~10 Shine Steps: Fancy Footwork
• Time to practice in class what you learn
• Perfecting your skills in an encouraging, enthusiastic, thorough environment

Directions to Club Caliente: From the Itaewon Subway Station (line #6, Brown Line), go out of subway exit #4. Walk past a convenience store on the left and to a bus stop on your right. Club Caliente is in the same building as Nashville. Walk up the stairs to the 3rd Floor.
