Hyatt Regency Incheon Hyatt Regency Incheon is featuring guest chef Roberto Mancini, Italian Chef de Cuisine at the hotel’s sister property in Tokyo, the Roppongi Hills Club.  Mancini will create his favorite traditional Italian dishes in Restaurant 8 for lunch and dinner from March 14 to 23.   Lunch is priced from 35,000 won to 45,000 won. A special selection of Italian dishes is also available for Sunday brunch at 43,000 won.  The a la carte selection will be served for dinner from Monday to Thursday. A special Italian dinner buffet is also available from Friday to Sunday at 50,000 won.   He will also fashion a creative set menu for the exceptional Biondi Santi Wine Maker’s Dinner on March 22.  For more information, call (032) 745-1234.

COEX InterContinental Seoul

The COEX InterContinental Seoul’s Sky Lounge presents chef Nick Flynn.  The native Australian has spent the past two decades in places as diverse as Germany and India, enriching culinary experiences in both the east and west.   In March, he will introduce a menu that features ingredients such as foie gras and main dishes such as butter poached lobster, scallops, truffle, chive ravioli and champagne foam.   For more information, call (02) 3430-8630.

Renaissance Seoul Hotel

The Renaissance Seoul Hotel will hold various events to celebrate “White Day” on March 14, a day when females express their love.   The “Just Two of Us” package at W 250,000 won includes a Origins brand massage set, an in-room brunch with a mini bottle of Moet Chandon and an option for a late 3 p.m. check out.  On March 14, a dinner show of opera “Cinderella” will be offered at the Diamond Ballroom. The show includes a seven course dinner 200,000 won.

Ritz-Carlton, Seoul

The Ritz-Carlton, Seoul offers a special gift package for “White Day.”  Titled “White Day with Marc Jacobs,” the package offers a bottle of luxurious Marc Jacobs perfume as well as a romantic dinner for two.  Participants are also allowed free access to the sauna, swimming pool and fitness club.  The package is available from March 13 to 16 at 290,000 won. Imperial Palace Hotel features a special offer, “White Day Champagne & Wine Fiesta” with Moet & Chandon at Cafe Amiga for White Day on March 14.   Guests can enjoy free flowing Moet & Chandon champagne with its charming fruity flavor, reserve-level premium wine and draft beer along with a buffet with about 50 dishes.  It is available at 85,000 won. Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel will host the 70th Wine and Cheese Club meeting on March 19.  The event features a selection of wines from Australia’s Penfolds brand. Novotel Gangnam Seoul Japanese restaurant SHUNMI is serving sea bream delicacies. Best prior to its spawning season (March to April), sea bream is a true winter delicacy as every part of the fish can be used in special cuisine. Its premium taste has even been compared to foie gras. Sea bream sashimi, the highlight of the menu, is said to alleviate fevers.
