More on Little Travellers

April 23, 2008

DollsSeoulEats is out spreading the word on Little Travellers (SeoulSteves previously covered them here), and asked us to post a write-up of an up-coming event they’re having. It’s a very worthy cause and you can get cheap beer out of it, so there’s no excuse for not participating. Read more

Dan, the brains behinds Deconstructing Korea, recently bought the domain SeoulEats and is in the process of pumping up his content. He’s also just posted his list of May dining events in Seoul.

Enjoy the list, but also make sure you check out the other stuff at SeoulEats. Come for the food, stay for the Manwha-style restaurant reviews.

For Substantial Fat Loss, Efficiency is King

April 17, 2008

My latest Korea Herald article that went to press last week:

Conventional wisdom holds that slow and steady workouts are the best way to burn fat. This is why you sometimes see people on the treadmill when you first get to the gym, and they’re still there when you leave. However, the rest of us can take solace in the fact that recent research suggests there is a more efficient strategy for overall fat loss. Read more

You, too, can be a ‘Seoul Steve’!

April 17, 2008

You may have noticed that our posts on here have been getting fewer and farther between as late. Spicy and I have found ourselves pulled in so many directions at once in order to take care of the behind-the-scenes aspects of SeoulSteves that we have, unfortunately, been neglecting our bread and butter: Events and content!

So we’ve decided to put out a call for contributors (writers, photographers, perhaps someone with SQL database knowledge). The pay is low (we might be able to negotiate some free hug coupons though or something), but we’ve never been in this for the money. I will tell you one thing though, Seoul Steves is great for networking and meeting new people. So if you’re looking to get involved with something social during your time in Korea, but don’t want to commit to something where you have to meet every week at a certain time, helping us out could be a GREAT way for you to get involved with something.

If you’re interested, please email me at skinny@seoulsteves.com, or visit our contact page.
