Hip new lounge discovered by SCAS

There’s a great little wine bar/cafe recently discovered by the Seoul Cigar Aficionado Society and they’re introducing it to the expat community this Saturday by holding a special event there.

I’ve personally been to Oga Lounge in Ichon-dong before and I can attest to the chill vibe. It’s also fun to watch classic films such as Casablanca and The Godfather while sharing a bottle of wine and a gourmet. Seriously, the place is cool, and if you go on Saturday evening you get 15% off everything, plus a chance to smoke a prized Montecristo #2 at 20% off.

When you walk into OGA lounge, you get a feeling that it has retro-styling, but at the same time you notice there are hints of modern interior design scattered about making for a most interesting watering hole. The retro-feeling surely stands out with a wall of 12″ records and the record player churning out warm, crackling tunes only LPs seem to produce.

TIME: Starting at 7pm with appetizers & dinner served as guests arrive.

COST: A SCAS preferred rate of W40,000 (+VAT) per person for dinner. The price includes a glass of either red or white sparkling wine and a Swedish dessert.

CIGAR: The featured cigar of the evening is the Montecristo No.2. The featured cigar of the evening is not covered in the cost of dinner.

FOOD: The dinner consists of a mix of different, small appetizers (Japanese, Japanese fusion), a grilled main dish, and a dessert. Once a small group of two to three assemble at a table, appetizers will be served. OGA does this to ensure the freshest food is prepared for the smoker.
