The Pucheon Film Festival usually puts on a good schedule of movies that cross a range of genres. Many Korean film directors attend and a number of foreign film directors are invited to talk about their movies.

If you’re in Korea, then the festival is well worth a visit so check out the films you want to watch on the festival schedule in advance! A local source of expert knowledge in Pucheon would be Cafe Nicolia cafenicolia.com

Opening Film this year is: Waltz with Bashir by Israeli director Ari Folman. The closing film isCyborg She by Korean director KWAK Jae Yong

SPAF(Seoul Performing Arts Festival) is one of the biggest performing arts festivals in Korea that presents major international and domestic contemporary works of drama, dance and interdisciplinary arts.Started in 2001, it runs for about 1 month (mid September - mid October) in major venues throughout Seoul. SPAF is supported by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Arts Council Korea and Seoul Metropolitan Government. As a part of a network of international performing arts festivals, SPAF is recognized as a cultural hub for Northeast Asia. We also serve as a venue for educating Korean artists and promoting them to the International market.

New Fusion Arts Event

Fusion Arts is a group of non-Korean and Korean artists living in Korea.The show, In Place, opens at the NamSan Folk Village in Seoul from June 7 until July 3oth. The opening will start at 11am. There will be some food and wine. Come and enjoy!
