Rolling Stones tribute for a cause

Adam of The 40 days sent us an e-mail update about their show on May 3rd in Hongdae. Check it out:

Saturday, May 3rd at Club Freebird in Hongdae there’s a benefit for the Kyeong Saeng Won orphanage. The orphange is out near Jamsil, and mainly houses older kids who are not really candidates for adoption anymore. Right now there are 57 kids who call it home. The money raised at this show will go toward buying bikes for those kids.
Five bands, all playing the music of the Rolling Stones as well as some of their own. The show starts at 10pm. There’s also a raffle with some great prizes. And big thanks to our friends at the Wolfhound for their help!

Rainbow Party @Club VIA 4/19

Thanks to a great post from FeetManSeoul about Hongdae Parties! If you haven’t had a chance to check out their site in more detail…i strongly urge you to do so. Vivid pictures of life in Seoul take the reader to a whole new level of “cool”.  Catch a glimpse of the fashion and clubbing scenes through the eye of the lens. According to FeetManSeoul, there’s a hip party to be seen at this weekend and that’s at Club VIA in Hongdae. 15,000 won gets you in the door (comes with one standard free drink) Doors open at 10:00 and the party will last until the wee hours of morning.
